In other words, in this case, the tenant must provide all the furniture, appliances and utensils necessary to live in the apartment and will be responsible for their removal, installation and maintenance.

What elements should an unfurnished apartment have?

  • Kitchen equipped with electrical outlets, faucet, sink, cooktop and extractor hood.
  • Heating and/or air conditioning system.
  • Bathroom complete with toilet, sink, shower or bathtub, towel rack, mirror and ventilation system.
  • Electrical installation in good condition with sufficient plugs and sockets.
  • Double glazed windows with good thermal and acoustic insulation.
  • Floors and walls clean and in good condition.

  • Guarantees that the tenant who signs the rental contract is willing to stay for a longer period of time, since he/she has made an important initial investment.
